This course is designed as a content methods course for students who wish to teach French. It is a continuation of Teaching of French I. This course will familiarize students with theoretical and practical considerations of language teaching and learning. Students will learn several approaches and methods of language teaching and will develop the skills necessary to critically evaluate language acquisition theories methods teaching practices and materials as well as to reflect critically on their own ideas about teaching languages. The course is taught entirely in French. Students will have an opportunity to improve their oral French and comprehension.
