Prerequisites: None. An introductory field study of our local plants including the herbaceous wildflowers trees shrubs ferns and fern allies mosses fungi and lichens. Students will become familiar with the plants growing in our local bogs forests and along riversides through field and laboratory observations discussion of life histories and the principles of identification and consideration of common uses.
