3 cr. Theories, practices, and techniques of "on-air" presentation will be the focus of this course. Students will develop the skills necessary to perform a variety of media announcing tasks. Students will study the techniques and styles required to perform as media newscasters, interviewers, program hosts, commercial and public service announcers. Prerequisite(s): COMM 120 or consent of instructor.
