This is a Texas Common Course Number. Prerequisite: Chemistry 1411. Developmental Mathematics 0091 or Developmental Mathematics 0093 or Developmental Mathematics 0098 or Developmental Mathematics 0099 or the equivalent. Developmental Reading 0093 or English as a Second Language (ESOL) 0044 or have met the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standard in Reading. Chemical calculations are reviewed. Emphasis is on stoichiometry and chemical equilibrium. This course is cross-listed as CHEM 1104. The student may register for either CHEM 1104 or CHEM 1204, but may receive credit for only one of the two. (2 Lec.)
