Prerequisite: EDHP 6170 and EDFR 6700 or EDFR 6705 or the consent of department. This seminar will provide an opportunity for students to learn about health promotion by evaluating the current professional literature in health education and health promotion. The basics of scientific investigation, scientific writing, risk appraisal, intervention strategies, and behavior change on an individual, group, and community level will be explored.
