Focuses on the therapeutic and recreational use of drugs and the mechanisms of drug action, that is how the drugs aff ect the brain. Neuropsychiatric function and dysfunction are discussed as they relate to the use or abuse of particular drugs. Prereq: PSYC 402; 502; 531;/ or permission. Writing intensive. 4 cr.
