Course presents advanced techniques in xhtml coding with emphasis on Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and introduces essential JavaScript programming for client-side processing. Topics include CSS conventions, javascript code placement, variables, control structures, events and event handlers, Javascript objects, and the Document Oject Model. Course is designed to extend basic understanding of web authoring and provide experience developing complex interactive web documents. Prereq: CIS 405, CS 403 or permissions. 4 cr.
