This course introduces students to the fundamentals of health care administration and the U.S. health care system. Important topics such as the provision of health care, financing, delivery and resources are discussed in a wide variety of health care settings, ranging from hospitals to nursing homes to ambulatory care centers. The various roles of health care providers and administrators are also described. Pre: Placement into ENG 100 or concurrent enrollment in ENG 22.
