This course examines the political and social factors which determine domestic and foreign policy in China, Japan, India and other Asian nations as well as these countries' political and socioeconomic links with and throughout the Pacific/Oceania. Topics covered include: political development, immigration and economic issues, government institutions, the forced shaping political decisions and processes of revolution.
