EDEE 300 - Service Learning

In this field-based course, students participate in a minimum of 45 hours (per credit hour) of volunteer work, utilizing cultural and scientific community resources, which in turn provide the contexts for understanding the impact of educational initiatives in a global society. Taken concurrently with EDEE 310, students gain valuable, first-hand experience with contemporary issues in education, within the context of service to the local community. Pre: Sophomore or higher level standing; EDEE 200 and 201 (or concurrent enrollment).
