(295) Either semester. Three credits. Hours by arrangement. Prerequisite: Open to juniors or higher. Open only with consent of instructor. Students taking this course will be assigned a final grade of S (satisfactory) or U (unsatisfactory). Supervised practical experience in studio and studio related work. Section one: Communication Design Studio Internship. Supervised practical experience in a commercial design studio, agency, or related work. Prerequisite: B average in communication design classes, ART 3120, and consent of instructor. Section two: Photography Studio Internship. Supervised practical experience in a commercial photography studio, agency or in related work. Prerequisite: B average in photography classes, ART 4410 and consent of a photography instructor. Section three: Art Studio Internship. Supervised practical experience in an art studio. Prerequisite: B average in major Junior - Senior course work and consent of instructor from the major.
