(269) Second semester. Three credits. Two class periods and one 2-hour laboratory or discussion period. Prerequisite: BIOL 1107. Recommended preparation: BIOL 1108 or equivalent. Milvae Principles and practices of laboratory animal care and management in relation to animal characteristics, handling and restraint, animal house design, reproduction and nutrition and legal regulations. Various laboratory animal techniques will be covered. A $75 fee is charged for this course.
