The course focuses on the 19th and 20th centuries, with particular attention to several Pan- African Congresses, issues of identity and community, concepts of diaspora and return, development debates, and the very contentious reparations movement, and concludes with various scholarly perceptions on prospects for Pan-Africanism. Also offered through African Studies and Global Studies.
