An introduction to mathematical and statistical techniques used in economic analysis. Topics include the representation of economic hypotheses, sources and uses of economic data, probability, hypothesis testing and regression analysis. Emphasis is on the application of statistical techniques to economic problems. Prerequisite: Economics 100. Students less confident in their mathematical skills should take Mathematics 113 prior to Economics 200. Also offered through Statistics.
