Introduces complex analysis topics including complex numbers and functions of one complex variable, analytic functions and Cauchy-Riemann Equations, harmonic functions, elementary functions of one complex variable, contour integrals, Cauchy's Integral Theorem, Taylor and Laurent series, theory of residues, and Riemann Sphere. May discuss conformal mappings anlalytic continuation, Riemann Surfaces, Mitteg-Leffler expansion of meromorphic functions. Prerequisite: MAT H393, MAT H455, MAT H460, and MAT H472. It is recommended this course be taken the trimester before student teaching. media communications
