This telecourse is an introduction to the fictional literature produced by contemporary Native Americans. The authors of the works studied were guests for the taping segments. Modes of discourse and the impact of Native American cultures, concerns, and philosophy on the fiction and poetry of these authors are the primary foci of the course.
