Focuses on various critical applied topics related to counseling. Focuses on the development and refinement of counseling skills required for working with adolescents, with particular emphasis on career, academic, and personal/social development. Applies a developmental school counseling approach through counseling and consultative strategies. Students will complete a minimum of 50 hours within a school field placement. Prerequisite: COUN638, COUN844 or concurrent enrollment.
