Focuses various topics related to elementary school counseling. Focuses on the development and refinement of counseling skills required for working with children with particular emphasis on career, academic, and personal/social development. Applies a developmental school counseling approach through counseling and consultative strategies. Students will complete a minimum of 50 hours in a school field placement. Prerequisite: Degree candidacy and COUN638 or concurrent enrollment.
