3 credits This course will focus on a study of the major instruments used in Analytical Chemistry with an emphasis on modern instrumentation and laboratory techniques. Lecture and discussion 3 hours per week. (Offered 2007-2008 and alternate years) Prerequisites: CHM 251 Quantitative Analysis, CHM 251L Quantitative Analysis Laboratory, CHM 304 Organic Chemistry II, CHM 304L Organic Chemistry Laboratory, or permission of the instructor.
