This course focuses on the techniques of isolation, purification and organic synthesis. IR, NMR and GC are used for characterization and identification of compounds. Laboratory 3 hours per week. Prerequisites: CHM 152 General Chemistry and CHM 152L General Chemistry Laboratory. Corequisite: CHM 303, CHM 304 Organic Chemistry I, II
