Newton's laws, gravitation, motion in a plane, work and energy, impulse and momentum, rotation and angular momentum, simple harmonic motion, fluids, heat and thermodynamics, waves and acoustics, electrostatics, magnetism and electromagnetism, direct and alternating current, geometrical and physical optics. Pre- or coreq.: Math 20200 for Phys 20700. Phys 20700 is prereq. for Phys 20800. Math 20300 is pre- or coreq. for Phys 20800.
