For students in the Macaulay Honors College at The City College. A broad exposure to the arts in New York City. Attendance at performances, exhibitions and other cultural events is central to the course. Students examine these events from the multiple perspectives of scholarship, creativity and production and enhance their appreciation by investigating the social, historical and aesthetic context of the cultural works. Prereq.: admission to the Macaulay Honors College. 4 hr./wk.; 4 cr.
