2 hours. This elective course is designed to introduce students to the primary software applications and concepts used in the preparation of a wide variety of print and digital media. The course will focus on acquiring the skills necessary to move easily between the most relevant page layout, imaging, video and sound software as well as developing skills in digital file and digital color management. This course is open to all students interested in expanding their knowledge and expertise of software used in the digital arts. It is strongly recommended for beginning as well as advanced students working in Design, Print Media, Sonic, Video and Interactive Arts. (Fall or Spring)
