Description:
2 hours. Open to all students, the symphony orchestra provides students an opportunity to study music ranging from the classical era to the 20th Century. The ensemble presents a concert each semester which often features student soloists. A major work is performed every other semester with the AU Chorus. Previous works include Handel's "Messiah", Vivaldi's "Gloria", Mozart's "Requiem" and Orff's "Carmina Burana". (C)
