Emphasis is placed upon recognizing operational opportunities and tradeoffs, and employing quantitative and qualitative tools and decision-support systems to assist strategic and operational decision making. Topics include: process design, quality managethe strategic use of e-commerce in a global environment. Students will develop skills in establishing a Web presence for a business and business planning. Prerequisites: BUS 260, BUS 345, and junior standing. Cr 3.
