Issues to be discussed include change, time, freedom and necessity, immortality and God, good and evil. Thinkers to be studied include Plato and Aristotle, Spinoza, Kant, Hegel, Whitehead and Heidegger. Prerequisite: any PHI 100-level course. Cr 3.
