This course will focus primarily on novels written with reference to the British literary tradition of the twentieth century, exhibiting the stylistic and thematic concerns associated with literary impression- British Literature Since 1900 ism, and early and late modernism, by such writers as Joseph Conrad, Ford Madox Ford, Jean Rhys, Virginia Woolf, James Joyce, Samuel Beckett, Christina Stead, William Trevor, Jessie Kesson, and Lewis Grassic-Gibbon. 3-year cycle.
