This course provides an introduction to the laws of thermodynamics. Thermodynamic properties are defined that describe the behavior and state of systems. The laws of thermodynamics are applied to control masses and control volumes. Thermodynamic analysis is applied to a variety of standard thermodynamic devices and cycles. Prerequisite(s): ENGR 2033, CHEM 03, and MATH 303 or concurrent enrollment in MATH 3103 with a minimum grade of "C". Junior or senior standing. Concurrent enrollment in ENGR 3203D is required.
