This course will develop problem-solving strategies that enable students to combine, manipulate and conceptually explore the elements and principles of design for application into a visual communication process. This is part of a required foundation sequence that will prepare students for DES 1053. Prerequisite(s): Enrollment is open to freshmen and sophomore declared design majors only. Concurrent enrollment with DES 1023 is required. For interior design majors concurrent enrollment with DES 1113 is recommended.
