This course is a correlative study of animal function with emphasis on environmental and biochemical adaptations. It consists of three hours lecture and three hours laboratory per week. Students may not receive credit for both BIO 3403 and BIO 3464. Prerequisite(s): 12 hours of biology (other than Botany), including BIO 2203. Biochemistry is strongly recommended.
