This course is an introduction to insects emphasizing functional anatomy and identification of specimens to family level and exploring both basic and applied aspects of the discipline. It consists of three hours lecture and three hours laboratory per week and field trips are required. Prerequisite(s): 8 hours of biology including BIO 1404.
