This course studies freshwater life with special emphasis on community relationships, ecological factors in different habitats and their influence on the distributions, abundances, and adaptations of freshwater organisms. It consists of three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory per week. Extensive field work is required. Prerequisite(s): BIO 2263.
