This course is a study of different methods/approaches of teaching science (life and physical sciences, grades 6-2) and current issues in science education for secondary science education majors. Curriculum includes individual experience involving application of methods and approaches learned in the course. It consists of two hours lecture and three hours laboratory per week. Prerequisite(s): Six hours of science courses at the 3000 level and admission to the Professional Teacher Education program.
