This course investigates structuring processes and surface manipulation using found and purchased materials. Techniques may include use of addition or subtraction from surface and structure through layering, piecing, stitching, cutting piercing as well as other unconventional methods of joining. Emphasis is on the development of strong personal expression. Prerequisite(s): ART 2903, 3403, 3423 with a minimum grade of "C" and sophomore standing or above.
