This advanced course will serve as a capstone course for the jewelry and metalsmithing students. Emphasis will be placed on portfolio development in preparation for graduation, entry into graduate school, and the professional field. The student will organize a body of work for senior exhibition, develop an artist statement, investigate advanced techniques and research artists practicing in the contemporary field of jewelry and metalsmithing. Exhibition beyond the university setting will be required as part of the portfolio development. Prerequisite(s): ART 2903, 3463 and 4403 with a minimum grade of "C" and junior or senior standing.
