This course provides a study of the elements and principles of two-dimensional design, their relationship to pictorial composition, and their application to a variety of design problems. Through the use of both traditional and non-traditional media the students will explore aspects of line, shape, value, color, texture and the illusion of space and time. Prerequisite(s): ART 1023. Enrollment is open to freshmen and sophomore students only.
