5 credits: 2 hours lecture, 3 hours lab Prerequisites: WELD 1115 and 1215 or appropriate AWS certification for each course or approval of administration and instructor based on industry certifications/standards A study of the principles of Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) in relation to ferrous and nonferrous metals with practical application of carbon steel welding relative to work environments.
