6 credits: 1 hour lecture, 15 hours laboratory Prerequisites: GIS option: SIS 4183 and SIS 4713; SIS senior standing. Surveying option: SIS 3814, 4183, 4454 and SIS senior standing An integrated problem solving course that uses geographic information systems (GIS), remote sensing, global positioning systems (GPS), and surveying to address real world problems. Students will work with a federal, state, private, or non-profit agency using spatial technologies in their area of specialization to solve real world problems for that agency. Offered: Spring.
