2 credits Prerequisite: PPS 1114 External sizing, pigment coatings, and calendaring as well as size press designs and solutions utilized in external sizing. Coater designs and pigment portion focuses on coating formulation and quality tests performed on surface solutions applied at the size press, coaters, or calender stacks.
