4 credits: 3 hours lecture, 3 hours laboratory Prerequisites: SIS 2023 and MATH 1033 Corequisite: CIS 2223 Measuring horizontal and vertical distances and angles, collection and adjustment of traverse data, area calculations, differential and trigonometric leveling, topographic surveys, control surveys, basics of astronomical observations, basic GPS theory, computations using the State Plane Coordinate System and the creation of plats using computer-aided design (CAD).
