1 credit: 1 hour lecture, 1 hour laboratory This course will give an overview of methods of teaching water exercise for special populations such as those with arthritis, orthopedic impairment, obesity, heart disease, and circulatory impairment as well as healthy populations who use water exercise for fitness. This would include both swimming and non-swimming activities. The aerobic dance portion of the class will involve aerobic dance teacher certification. Offered: Fall, Spring.
