4 credits: 4 hours clinical Prerequisites: EMER 2217 and EMER 2224 Emphasis on all practical skills learned in previous coursework including ACLS skills. Supervised experience in pre-hospital care settings. Emphasis on the application of previous course work in the field environment. Clinical setting will change from the hospital to an ambulance capable of delivering advanced life support. Initially the student will serve as an observer advancing to unit team leader. This course may be transferable toward a limited number of associate and baccalaureate degrees. Contact advisor for information regarding transferability.
