Prerequisite: a grade of C or greater in MATH 0300, its equivalent, or suitable score on a mathematics placement test (See "Mathematics Placement Tests" onpage 177). Fundamental operations with real numbers; linear and quadratic equations; systems of linear equations; inequalities; graphs, logarithms; fractional and negative exponents. Note: MATH 0301 will not count for credit toward a degree for any student. Grading for this course will be A, B, C, no credit. Three hours lecture. Three credit hours.
