Prerequisites: senior standing, acceptance as a biology major, minimum GPA of 2.50, completion of BIOL 3391, and consent of the department chairperson. Cooperative education seeks to integrate academic and professional work experience. Students will be placed in a work setting consistent with their biological career objectives. This course requires a minimum of 200 semester work hours. No more than six hours independent study, undergraduate research, and/or cooperative education may be counted for biology elective credit (See "Indenpendent Research and Study"on page 35). Three credit hours.
