Prerequisite: ARAD 3301. This course will explore the many possibilities of what blacksmithing can be in contemporary forge work. An emphasis will be placed on the use of traditional techniques whenever possible. Various hot forging methods, fabrication processes, welding and limited use of machining methods will be explored. Three credit hours.
