Prerequisites: ARST 2315 and ARST 3312. This course is designed to teach surface design techniques on fabric and other fiber surfaces used in production fibers. Students will develop surface design techniques including but not limited to the use of stamping, silk screening basics, discharge dyes, fabric paint, beading, stitchery, and collage. Three credit hours.
