This course serves as an introduction to the theoretical analysis of jazz harmony, with an emphasis on styles from the bebop era and later. Prerequisite: MU 201. Offered every other fall semester only. 241 301 Theory of Music III (3 hrs) Continuation of studies on a more advanced basis than MU 201-202. Prerequisites: MU 202 and 204.
