Emphasis on elements of style and usage, revision, proofreading, and application of rhetorical techniques to the work of engineers, scientists, and technicians. Involves collaborative project with professional writers in industry. Prerequisites: EH 101 and 102 and junior standing. Qualifies as elective in English major. Does not count toward English minor except for Cognate Studies in Technical Writing. Does not count toward certification in secondary education. Offered spring semester only. Lab Fee: $40.
