Biostatistics ( 3) Prerequisites: BIOL 104/114 and MATH 118, or permission of instructor An introduction to biostatistical concepts and methods commonly encountered in biology. The course will cover basic descriptive statistics as well as experimental design and techniques for testing hypotheses (e.g. analysis of variance/covariance, regression analysis, and nonparametric statistics). Three lecture or laboratory hours.
