An interactive seminar that brings students, faculty and industry leaders together to study and discuss critical issues facing today's financial services industry. The course will address the full range of financial services including investment and commercial banking, insurance, pension plans, risk management, mutual funds, e-commerce and personal and business planning. Leadership, customer service and marketing issues will be discussed. Finally, the course will provide a comprehensive overview of the structure of the financial system, interest rate and business cycle determinants and international financial markets. Prereq: FIN 710 or both ACCT 711 and FIN 301.
